The 1st Malaysian Regional Geotechnical Engineering Conference (MRGEC2026) was initiated under the strategic collaboration programme by JKR Malaysia, in partnership with JKR Sabah and JKR Sarawak, held on 11-14 Feb 2025, emphasising regional cooperation in knowledge and expertise sharing.

Jointly initiated by JKR Malaysia, JKR Sabah, and JKR Sarawak, the event is expected to host around 500 participants with 50 exhibition booths.
